True Love: The Chase ~ Trusting God with Your Happily Ever After... Part III

Before we go into the other parts of having your Happily Ever After

that God has planned for you ~ there is one really important point we need to make here.

When you are chasing God first, there is no need or reason to be chasing someone else, nor is the desire there to chase someone else. This thought or idea does not even exist in your heart or mind, when you are focused on God and God is first in your life, because instead of chasing someone, you are in awe and wonder about what God is doing in your life and awe and wonder of the person God has brought into your life, and the way God is moving through that person and you and your relationship. Chasing even that person would be the farthest thing from your mind. That person, would be the last person you would ever chase on this planet because God is the one who is creating the relationship and causing you to be in wonder and awe of them. God is the one who is bringing you to them, and them to you… God is the active one, while both of you are open to receiving what God has planned for you and what God wants for you - the goodness God wants for you, and the person God wants to bless your life with. You are too busy being in awe of what God is doing, and how God is working in you, through you, and the other person, that chasing the person would not even be a thought in your heart and mind. You are too mesmerized but what God is doing and who God is, who God is being and how God is working and moving through your life, that God’s goodness just radiates. There is no concept of chasing someone else or even of someone chasing you, because God is the active one in this case…you are just open to receiving and then listening to the way the Holy Spirit is prompting you and moving through your relationship. In this case, you are are receiving God’s grace, listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, to grow more deeply in love with the other person. There is no chasing or concept of chasing. Only when someone is out of alignment in their relationship with God, do they even think of the concept of “chasing” someone else etc. or being chased.

The beauty and goodness of God is too great and too big for the concept of chasing someone to exist. This is because you are mesmerized by the wonder and awe of God and God’s goodness and how God is the divine mover and divine actor in the relationship. God is the divine impetus. This is what brings the true love, true joy and true fulfillment in the relationship. And only when someone is out of alignment in their relationship with God do they even think of the concept of “chasing”… when they have strayed from the wonder and awe of God and the power of who God is.

One of the reasons why I love Kyle and Kelsey’s story is because you can see how God was moving throughout their relationship, and how God was the one drawing them together. There was no need for either of them to chase each other and no concept of chasing each other. There is only wonder and awe of God, and how God, and the divine power of God brought them to each other… and even in moments of difficulty…drew them closer to each other - each of them falling more in love with each other and deeper in love with each other along their journey here on earth and their relationship with God. In this, you are open to receiving what God has planned for you and the beautiful blessings God has for your life. You are open to receiving from God because you give to God every time you make time for God. Every time you spend time with God, every time you put God first, and when you recognize and own for yourself God’s ultimate power, being, and divineness.

I learned this a long time ago, while giving birth to my children. When you put God first in your life and over your life, God’s divineness will flood your life, and God will be the one navigating your life; God is the divine impetus. There is only wonder and awe about who God is, how God is present in your life, how God is showing up in your life and moving through your life, and moving through the lives of the ones you love (including your children etc.)…. there is no chasing someone else or something else and no concept of chasing someone or something else or being chased. God is always birthing the way for us… there is no us chasing anything besides God. Even when I run, I do not run to compete with others, or to chase someone or something else. I run to experience more of the divine; I run to experience God on a deeper level, and my only competition is myself…and even in that, I accept myself for who I am and who God has created me to be, who God is birthing me to be and who I am becoming. Even on my runs and during my training, I am in awe and wonder of who God is… and what God is doing in me and around me and in the people around me.

This is also part of the beauty of Kyle and Kelsey’s story as well.

When you put God first, and you are in alignment with God you can see the beauty and goodness of God and the wonder and awe of God. When you stop putting God first, this light dims, as in your spiritual vision dims, and you can end up on the wrong path in your life, or going farther away from God and running away from God, God’s goodness and who God is/ who God truly is and what God really wants for you. It is in this that you can get lost, very easily, and begin to chase after the wrong things. If you are not chasing after God, you are chasing after the wrong things. Because your life is meant to be filled with wonder and awe of how God is present in it, and where God is present in it, who God brings to you and gives you, and growing deeper in love with the person God has chosen for you. You will also receive many confirmations from God that that person is the person for you and that God has chosen for you, despite the ups and downs, and despite whatever happens from one day, week, month, or year to the next.

So, the next question is… how can we trust God more deeply with our Happily Ever After?

We will share more in the next post!
