Prayer to Saints Zelie and Louis Martin - Founding Prayer 2

This prayer is one of the many prayers we prayed that has guided the founding of the foundation and was prayed before we founded it and throughout everything we do. We have prayed these prayers over the last 5 years… as we were discerning what direction to take with founding it, this prayer really helped us to see more clearly our next steps to found the foundation. Essentially, these are prayers our foundation were founded on and ones that our foundation lives by. As you can see the many prayers that we have prayed… each area of our foundation is covered in prayer, and all of these prayers helped us to found each area of our foundation and the services we offer.

God of eternal love, we praise You for Saints Zelie and Louis Martin, who give us a wonderful example of holiness lived in marriage. They kept firm faith and hope in the midst of trials, bereavement and sufferings, and show immense trust in You and faithful obedience to Your Will.

Grant that by their fidelity to their vocation, their prayers and their example, Christian family life may blossom and be sustained in our world today, and that we may be aided in our own journey toward holiness.

If it be Your Will, grant me the grace I now ask of You, through the intercession of Saints Zelie and Louis Martin. Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
