2022 Arts Season: The Grenchus Foundation @ Chase Steele Grey & Jonathan Arons: Just the 2 of Us

Chase went to the Berklee College of Music in Boston , Ma. Chase have travelled all over the world using his voice in production shows on cruise ships and in small lounges. These companies include, Costa, Celebrity, Discovery, and Disney as well. If he hears something a couple of times, he can match it. He loves tonalities and recording them in his brain for future use. His strong point is communicating warmth and comfortability. His father was in radio and he has received his gift as well. Many of his friends have asked him to record interesting messages for them as well. He also enjoy writing scripts for any given situation that deals with voice over.

Chase also spotlights at local restaurants - including Nello's, Roma Italia ... among many others. He also does Special events and Corporate events, while having his own band....Chase sang with The Grenchus Foundation for Laudato Si last spring!! Chase can sing with a Jamaican accent, Spanish accent, Italian, Indian, and Black American Hip Hop voices. He also sings in English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Jonathan Arons:

Jonathan Arons is a Grammy winning New York City trombonist, dancer, actor and writer who’s backed up such R&B artists Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, The Temptations, The O’Jays, Ashford and Simpson, Gloria Gaynor and many others as a member of the world renowned Chops Horns. Jazz credits include the Charles Mingus Big Band, The Vanguard Orchestra, and as a member of the Dave Holland Big Band playing on the 2005 Grammy winning Big Band album Overtime. In Salsa/Merengue, he’s played with Cuco Valoy, Nino Segarra, Hector Tricoche, and Raulin Rosendo among others.

But what Arons is most known for is being the “trombone dancer”, the guy who plays trombone a little and dances a lot on various television shows many of which have become popular video clips seen by millions. American television appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Steve Harvey’s Big Time, Showtime in Harlem, The Today Show and Maury. In the UK he has appeared on the BBC shows When Will I Be Famous? and the children’s show The Slammer. He has degrees in Jazz Performance and Biochemistry from Oberlin Conservatory and College. He is also the author of the upcoming book “Uncle Tim’s Condo” about how the bad dancing white people stereotype affects the global sense of entitlement.

Jonathan Arons was a trombonist from Season 3 of America's Got Talent.

He is actively involved with his mother’s school The Melody Arons Center for Applied Preschool Research, which was created in memory of his sister Melody who was multiply handicapped and tragically murdered in 1998. Coming from a lineage of artists and civil rights activists, Arons continues the tradition through music performance and education.
